Range Rover: HD radio™ receiver operation - HD radio - Range Rover Owner's ManualRange Rover: HD radio™ receiver operation

HD Radio™ technology operates in a very similar way to the standard AM/FM system. Information on storing stations, waveband selection etc., is given under 113, RADIO CONTROLS.

When an HD Radio signal is detected and received, the tuner gradually blends automatically between the analog and the digital audio.

Note: During this process, a change in volume levels may be experienced. The volume matching between the analog and digital signal is dependent upon the broadcaster.

If a digital signal is unavailable, the AM/FM analog signal is automatically selected. If the signal is lost when listening to a multicast service, the audio will be muted.

When tuned to an HD Radio channel, the station name shown in the display, is prefixed by HD. If there are multicast services available, the station name will be prefixed by HD1.
