The ALERT! option in the Category section of the Station list (see item 7) will alert you to a crisis of national or international importance. Any radio broadcast or other audio playback will be interrupted. When such a broadcast is made, an ALERT pop-up will be displayed on the touch screen. The pop-up can be cancelled, but the audio alert will continue to broadcast until finished or until the radio station or audio source is changed.
