Mercedes-Benz GL-Class: Before changing a fuse
► Park the vehicle and apply the parking
brake.
► Switch off all electrical consumers.
► Remove the SmartKey from the ignition
lock.
The fuses are located in various fuse boxes:
• fuse box on the front-passenger side of the
dashboard
• fuse box in the engine compartment on the
right-hand side of the vehicle, when viewed
in the direction of travel
• fuse box in the cargo compartment on the
right-hand side of the vehicle, when viewed
in the direction of travel
The fuse allocation chart is located in the vehicle tool kit in the stowage compartment under the trunk floor.
Important safety notes
The fuses in your vehicle serve to close down

components on the circuit and their functions
